Beer in Bavaria has had an exceptionally high value since time immemorial. It is not just the proverbial “liquid bread” alone, but rather also the social “cement” of our culture, in which values such as conviviality, community, honesty, reliability and solidarity with the homeland play a major role.

The Ayinger private brewery is located 45 minutes ride south of Munich. It has stood for excellent Bavarian beer culture for more than 140 years and is one of the most awarded breweries in Europe.

An English-speaking guide will accompany the guests on their tour through the interesting brewery.

The tour takes approx. two hours and of course guests will not miss the tasting of the private brewed beer afterwards.

A panoramic coach drive covers the outer parts and sights of Munich, such as, the Olympic Grounds, which continues to serve as a venue for cultural, social, and religious events; The artists quarter of Schwabing; the “Siegestor” near the English Garden and the Palace of Nymphenburg with its picturesque gardens and buildings.

The walking tour portion includes highlights like Marienplatz with the old and new Town Hall, Mary’s Column, Old Peter, Viktualienmarket (Victuals) and its maypole, Hofbräuhaus and Platzl, the Munich Residence, Opera House, Maximilian street, Theatiner Church and Odeonsplatz.

Castle Neuschwanstein

Today, Castle Neuschwanstein is one of the most popular of all the palaces and castles in Europe. The history and beauty of the famous fairy-tale castle has already enchanted Walt Disney!

The castle of King Ludwig II, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1886, was opened to the public just six weeks after his death.

The journey starts early in the morning as it is approx. 2 hour drive to the castle from Munich. The drive will take you through the countryside where you can admire the impressive landscape with high mountains of the Alps.

Upon arrival, you will walk about 20 minutes up hill to get to the castle.

Concentration Camp Dachau

The tour of the former Dachau concentration camp is a moving and meaningful experience. Dachau was the first concentration camp established by the Nazis during World War II and is considered a symbol of the horror and brutality of the Nazi regime.

The tour of the former campgrounds takes visitors to various sites, including the entrance gate with the infamous “Arbeit macht frei” (“Work makes you free”) inscription, the roll call area, the barracks, the crematorium and the crematorium museum.

A knowledgeable guide provides detailed information about the history of the camp, the conditions for the detainees, and the atrocities that were committed here. These tours can provide a particularly in-depth and informative experience.

Explore Munich from the culinary side of life! During this walking tour guests will explore the city as well as it’s taste with an English-speaking guide who shows them the cultural highlights and link them with culinary samples.

One part of the tour is of course the popular “Viktualienmarkt” (The Victuals or Food Market). The Victuals, held on six days a week in the heart of Munich, is one of the city’s most popular open-air markets, with a tradition dating back to the beginning of the 19th century.

Among other places the group will visit it is a bustling market with colorful stands and stalls offering not only fresh fruit and vegetables, but also traditional Bavarian fare pork, seafood, a variety of European cheeses and much, much more.

The brewery tour at Paulaner in Munich is a captivating experience for beer lovers and culture vultures alike. Set amid Bavarian beer tradition, this tour offers an insight into the brewing process.

The tour takes approx. thirty minutes and starts with a film presentation about the beer production and a tour through the production: the malt room, the brewhouse with the wort kettle and the lauter tun, the fermentation room and the maturing cellar.
